Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking time to learn fore about the Boy Scouts and our plans to continue youth leadership and character development programs for the young people of Kansas.

We can look around our community and point to national accomplishments when we review the impact of nearly 100 years of Scouting. Former Quivira Council Scouts are everywhere. Teaching in our public schools, leading congregations as ministers, running small entrepreneurships to large employers, are volunteering in the community, and in positions of national prominence.

I am pleased to Chair the Council's campaign to prepare for our next generation of Scouts. It is a privilege to be working with some of our region's most community-minded volunteer leaders on a program of such importance.

Together, we are working to expand and improve our ability to include more your people in Scouting. Our efforts directly touch Scouting in every part of our Council and will continue to make it an attractive program.

In so many ways, Scouting values represent the values of our communities. We respect our neighbors, work to better our neighborhood, practice our faith, and accept responsibilities to our families.

Your thoughtful consideration of how you may best help us achieve these goals is greatly appreciated. I hope you will join with us to ensure the continuing work of our region's premier youth serving organization.
