Charlotte Campaign Climbs past $4,000,000.


A campaign to improve its camps and expand programming has exceeded two-thirds of the campaign goal.  The Mecklenburg County Council serves nearly 18,000 young people.  Operating two year round camps, the local council has tailored each facility to a primary audience.  Clear Creek Scout Camp primarily serves younger Scouts, while Mecklenburg Scout Reservation Camp Grimes provides challenging outdoor activities for older Scouts.
